Was something not answered for you in SHIFT?

-Why didn't North believe Jack?
-This is a question I was asked a lot. What I tried to get across was that North did not WANT to believe Jack did it, and he exhausted every possible option. North was confused and didn't really know who was responsible, all he knew was people were getting hurt, and he needed to take action. He had a picture of Jack at the scene of the crime, so Jack is his highest suspect. He didn't want to believe it, but he ran out of options.

-What happened to Pitch at the end of the comic?
-Pitch was never the focus villain of the story, his only job was to assist Mori in the beginning because he wanted to see Mori defeat them. He is too weak to cause any more damage. By the end of the story, he's still skulking around the darkness in his lair.

-Did Mori ever see a female he could 'like'?
-Nope. Mori completely isolated himself for 300+ years, that's why he was so messed up.

-Did Jack ever see the other Guardians again in that 10 year gap before Mori came back?
-I will not reveal anything that may be included in a possible SHIFT sequel, sorry!

-How did Pitch loose so much power in between RotG and the beginning of SHIFT?
-At the end of the first movie, when the Nightmares dragged him underground, I pictured him being stripped of power. The Moon possibly punished him for what he did, and he just simply lost power. But that's just a theory, it's nothing factual.

-How did Mori get the blue contacts?
-He stole them XD

-How did you come up with the plot line story of the comic?
-The idea for Mori came from an idea I've had for a long time. I always played with the idea of a villain who could change into someone you know. There is something very eerie about not being able to trust someone, especially your friends. His name 'Mori' is one of the Latin roots, 'Mort', 'Mori', 'Mors' meaning death. The actual plot line started out by having the idea of Jack losing his powers, and it built from there!

-Which side did Mori's father took in the war? If Zephyr is no more does that mean that spiritual shifters can died again?
-Mori's father sided with Zephyr in the war of the shifters. He betrayed his wife and his two sons, and it really hurt them, but he thought he was doing the right thing. Zephyr has no real connection to the rest of the lives of the shifters, Manny is the one watching over them as spirits. For example, if Zephyr was to die, the rest of the race would continue living.

-Why did you choose a deer as Mori's true form?
-I've always admired deer. They are majestic and graceful, but also deadly. They are beautiful creatures, who can also protect themselves in a fight if needs must. I also needed an animal that was under attack by humans, to make it more believable, and deer hunting is a big part of life in many parts of the world. I of course added a few tweaks with the long manes and the four glowing eyes.

Survey Question!
A couple people have asked me this, so I just wanted to be clear that as much as I loved SHIFT and all of you readers, I will not being redrawing the comic like I did for TCM.
However, I would like to redraw just one page from the comic. I think it would be a fun project to test my progress, but that obviously leaves me with the vexing question as to WHICH page I should redraw.
So here we go, cast your votes in the comments section here. Which page of SHIFT do you want me to redraw.
The page with the most votes wins!
PATREON
I finally did it, I made a Patreon account!
I'm really getting desperate for money, I'm not gonna lie. I need some kind of support for TCM, SHIFT, and my other projects or I'm going to have to stop releasing comic pages every day.
If you like my story, it'd really mean the world to me if you pledge some support for my work on Patreon. If can be as small as $1 a month, and each pledge comes with cool rewards like requests, bonus comics, early page release, video tutorials and much more!
As much as I love having webcomics online for free, it is a reader supported project. Pretty soon I'm going to start moving back to one page every few days,

End of the Line
This is just a description of the ending of FADE copied from the last page.
My reasons for the ending:
Mori dying was something I'd originally planned to happen in SHIFT, but for other reasons I decided not to do that. This, I felt was the ideal way to wrap the series up. Mori was fueled by a fire that was extinguished by Jack, and now he had nothing left to keep on living for. His 'purpose' was no more. He didn't become a Guardian because that simply wasn't who he was. He had struggled and suffered for so long, in the end he just welcomed death with open arms.
As for how he died, read SHIFT, all of the answers are the. MiM warned Mori that o

If Mori hadn't shown up after Jack was punished by Manny, what would have North and Tooth done with Jack? Where would they have taken him?
